Mustang Mafia and Lady Mafia are on a mission to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need within our communities. This contest will allow us to help a graduating high school senior, in need of assistance, with some of their college essentials.

If you have received this application, you were nominated by someone who considers you deserving of this opportunity and has determined you may fit the qualifications to apply.

Eligibility:

•  Open to high school seniors, graduating in 2025.

•  Must be attending a college or university in Fall 2025.  

• New Orleans residents (or surrounding cities) only.​

How to Enter:

•  Complete the application form in full.

•  Submit a short video (no more than 5 minutes) answering the given prompt.

  • Please record a short video introducing yourself and describing your college plans ​and future goals. Please include insight on what going to college means to you and how winning this contest will help you achieve your academic goals.

Submission Deadline:

All applications must be submitted online by May 2, 2025 at 11:59 PM (CST).

Winner Selection:

•  Applications will be reviewed based on completeness, video prompt, and overall need.  

• Up to 2 winners will be chosen.

•  Winners will be announced on May 16, 2025 via email/phone and social media.

• In-person drop off will be coordinated with recipient, and is necessary to receive the prizes.

Prizes:

•  College essentials package including (but not limited to):  Laptop or tablet

•  Backpack

•  School supplies (ex: notebooks, pens, etc.)

•  Dorm essentials (ex: bedding, organizers, etc.)​

Terms & Conditions:

The giveaway is not affiliated with any specific school or college. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Winners must provide proof of college enrollment before receiving their prize. Failure to respond within 3 days (May 19,2025) will result in forfeiture of the prize and a new recipient will be chosen.
